Burnt Island will be playing at this year's Edinburgh Grassmarket Festival and Homegame. To coincide with these appearances, we have an exclusive download of The Year Of Open Doors.This will only be available until the 9th of May 2011.
Anthony talks with John Clarkson of Pennyblackmusic - you can read the interviews here and here. Anthony also makes two appearances in Cardiff over the next few days - on Saturday April the 16th he will perform 3 songs for piano, electronics, guitars and cello at The Chapter Arts Centre, as part of the Birthday Bazaar Cabaret.
He will also be appearing on April the 18th at The Rockin' Chair, Lower Cathedral Road, Cardiff, performing a mainly instrumental, improvised set at 'The Unemployed Disco.'
Avalanche Records have built up an outstanding reputation over 27 years and in particular have shown an enthusiasm and commitment to Scottish artists and labels.
Chaffinch are chuffed to bits to be asked by them to take part in a Scottish label week. This begins on Monday 21st February and concludes on Saturday 26th February, at 3pm with an in-store session by Burnt Island.
